Today I went to Noosa Everglades and it was incredible saw some great wildlife including a sea eagle, pelicans and black swans. We traveled up by boat stopped off for some mid morning tea, cakes and biscuits - result ;) before getting into canoes and going up the river. After what seemed like an eternity (an hour later) we finally moored next to the boat, after a 20 minute battle to actually get near the boat thanks to a great headwind - which is not so fun after an hour against the river flow and head wind. Fortunately, when we arrived we had salads, sausages and a nice steak to welcome us :) When we got back, some girls I had met on the trip and I wandered down to the beach for a lovely sunset swim - perfect! Waves, sand, palm trees and a sunset - paradise!
