howdy y'all,

well we have just about recovered from the crazyness of new york, we took the greyhound to washington on friday, but were so unorganised we could only get 1 nights accomodation! so we made the most of it and found a bar with happy hour!! we went into the White House gardens, which are only open 7 times a year! so it was good timing.

on saturday evening we got back on the greyhound for a delightful 15 hour bus ride to nashville, thankfully we were both so tired we slept all the way. we are staying at a really cute hostel, and have done nothing but party since we got here. the weather is gorgeous and the beer is cheap! we made some new friends in new york, that have followed us here.....the bed bugs!!!! we didnt realise quite how bad the hostel in NYC was.....they are eating us alive!!!! we are both covered in weeping, oozing, infected, itchy spots, Jess has one the size of her hand!!!! she looks really grim....

back to the joys of travelling, we actually have made some real life human friends, yesterday we hired bikes and went over the river to the eastside, and had texmex. everybody is so nice, and calls you ma'am.

we are staying here for an extra night, so we can actually do some sightseeing, rather than constantly playing flipcup...a hillariously addictive drinking game!
