Not something you expect to hear everyday from your nurse, but this is what she said to me today after having my second lot of Hep A & B jabs today. Apparently I need to avoid rigorous exercise after the jab and when I told her I was planning on the gym this evening, this was her response! I like this nurse more and more. Other drugs are in pharmacy fridge awaiting me for the next few weeks MMR, cholera and on the shelf Doxy. 11 weeks to go.....in the mean...

I had the first few of my many injections today. Typhoid first - luckily there is just one for this. Then the first of 3 for Hep A and Hep B. I have to go back to the doctors next week and then 2 weeks after that for more. However, this is just the start....Rabies, Cholera and Japanese encephalitis to follow I am sure this will all be worth it, but you don't (I didn't) always factor the cost of of all of these when planning the trip. Still with just 12 weeks...
