Hola y buenos tardes from Cusco, Peru.Just a quick one to let you all know we´ve arrived safely in Cusco, after 14 hours of flying yesterday and another one today we´re here!Cusco is lovely, the weather is good and so far neither of us have been affected by the altitude (though we both have very chapped lips, is that a side effect?!). Met a few people from our tour, though there are more to come tomorrow. So far they are all really nice, and include a man called Jess from Denmark, an Australian policeman and a nice Irish lady who we shared a room with in Lima (or rather, passed out next to last night!)We´re in a cafe which has a balcony overlooking the main square, where there has just been a performance by the police band! We will go and emjoy some coca tea later, and watch the peruvians in their ponchos go by! Start the Inca Trail day after tomorrow so won´t be any updates until we return, bruised and bedraggled, from the mountains! Wish us luck! hope all is good in England (ha ha!)K and J x x
