Hello!!

So, we have survived the first full day in Bangkok!! The feet are pretty sore and the clothes are quite sweaty. We also had our first ride on a tuk tuk which was pretty effin scary at times.

We visited the main Wat (temples) in Bangkok; Wat Pho and Wat Phra Kaew. Wat Pho was cool as the entry was cheap and there were not a lot of tourists there but Wat Phra Kaew was insanly big. Check out the pictures of all the gold leafing and the Reclining Buddha.

In the afternoon, we took a ferry on the Chao Phraya which is the main waterway in Bangkok and I am surprised we made it with all the hawkers trying to sell us stuff. Went for a walk through China Town which was cool but everything was cosing so we haven't made any purchases yet.

The food is great! We are trying not to have the Thai dishes which are normally offered in Australia so that we really "experience" it. ha ha Also the price of a beer has gone up about 3 times in price compared to Phuket *sigh*
