Arriving in VangVieng from Lunang Prabang did not come soon enough! The bus journey was so bad, wizzing up and down and around the mountainous roads almost sent us over the edge...literally!

The main reason people come here is do do the tubing...so we had to! Thsi involves irresponsible travellers floating down the river on a rubber tube stopping off at make-shift bars consuming various alcoholic drinks along the way...and having a go on the zip wires and monkey swings juming into the river!

As you can imagine, we were gonna be the sensible ones... until we befriended a group of irish and canadian guys. The drinks were flowing!whoops. Not to worry though, we made it back in one piece and carried on drinking and eating with our new friends! great fun.
