hiya all, Jen here

had brilliant day today- all been and done a skydive!! aha we were brave and just did it! we went from 12000ft, did free fall for 45 seconds at 200km and hour then floated down over the lake and mountains-it was amazing!! never felt anything like it and all got the dvd of us doing it to prove it!

that pretty much tired us out and we have ended up doing a bit of reading in the hazy sunshine outside our camper since before coming down to town to use the internet. queenstown is lovely right on the edge of lake, most touristy place we have probably been so far but we're quite like that feel, it's almost like holiday camp, full of camper vans and people are really friendly, last night after the long drive we just had pot noodle for tea (obviously stephs idea, it's all she normally eats whilst abroad with moma2 and looby except for crisps) and there was this lady there and she must have felt sorry for us as she gave us all her left over brocolli and cauliflower to go with it...we were very grateful actually, the pot noodle-not so good!!

got another night in queenstown tonight and then have no real plans, at some point tomorrow or day after we plan on going a little further south before headingeast and then north back towards christchurch again.

camper still going really well, not too bad to drive once we got used to the size of it and the beds are surprisingly comfy, think we have all had the best nights sleep we have had whilst away in our little camper!!

anyway off to make pasta for tea now, no meat being good friday-how good are we?!..also being good friday all restaurants put an extra charge on the bill, it's expensive enough for living costs as it is here so thought we'd give it a miss until normal prices have resumed!! have had a really good bottle of new zealand red though mart if you want to make jimmy jealous, prob be getting a few more in before moving on!!
