So to carry on where i left off, we had another full day in Kruger where we spotted 5 cheetah's really close up stalking a impala, but unfortunatley we couldnt stay to watch it catch it as we already stayed and watched it for about 30 mins. Then we saw a leopard just before lunch eating an already dead impala, it was a bit difficult to see because of the long grass, but you could just see it's head bobbing up and down while ripping it apart!
On our last full day at safari we were taken to an endangered animal project which specifically looked at cheetahs, so we saw loads of cheetahs as well as a baby zebra and more wild dogs and vultures and eagles. In the afternoon we were taken again on a safari around where we had our first evening safari when we had got there and we tried to track a pride of lions but unfortunatly we didnt find them, so we didnt get the big 5 (only 3) but it just means its an excuse to come again!!
On our last day in Kruger we went on a morning bush walk at 6.30 where we were told all about the trees and animal poo and footprints, then we had brekkie and then set off on our way back to j'burg. On the wat back we stopped at the blyde river canyon and saw the 3 rondawells, it was a pretty amazing view!!
Once we got back to j'burg we were pretty wiped so went to bed and then yesterday we just sat around in the sun in the garden of our hostel and got chatting to a few lads who had a crate of beer so we helped them finish that off and then a few others joined us and we all went to the pub (an american girl drove, as like i mentio ed you cant really walk anywhere at night), so today we're feeling pretty hungover and did very little again, but tomorrow we're gonna try and get a taxi down to the apartheid museum.
So thats you all caught up with what i've been doing.
Im gonna try and put some pic's up now but dunno how successful it will be on this computer!? If not iM sure i'll be able to do it once we're in tokyo - what with all the technology there!
