Went fishing this morning looking for the elusive flatheads! Only tiny fish biting today. Went for a great bike ride around the foreshore and found some great spots to fish (of course Mel had a crash on her bike so out came the medical kit). Bought some new rods and had a good chat to a local about rigs, bait and the best fishing spots! Threw in our lines up at 'The Narrows' and caught 5 Bream, 1 Parrot fish, 1 baby Catfish and 2 river mussels (all underside so threw them back). Wet & windy this morning so late sleep in, which helped us to recover from last nights bottle of Jim Beam. This morning we drove to Point Hicks (Croajingolong National Park ) then hiked 4.8kms and went up the light house. Never been in a light house before- the tallest lighthouse in Australia! Unbelievable that the walls were 1.8mtrs thick at the base (concrete) and 1.2mtrs at the top. So many reflectors- estimated to be worth over $3million nowadays.
