I've finished my India trips now, I was quite sad to finish at the end, cos I did get to like India very much in the places where it was less touristy. We visited much more of those sorts of places in the second two weeks, in comparison to in Rajasthan, so it was nicer in some ways. Our group was cool, we had a good time, and I was sad to say goodbye to everyone at the end! After Orchha, we went on to Khajarao, which had several dozen 1000 year old Hindu temples...

Hey everyone, I've had over 2 weeks in India so far and I'm starting to get an idea of how India is now, it takes a while as its a bit overwhelming! I joined a new tour group in Delhi for the first 2 weeks, which was in the state of Rajasthan west of Delhi, it has all the really touristy famous places like Jaipur and Jodhpur. The first day we had a walk round Old Delhi, it was kind of what you'd expect, hot and very busy, lots of noise and dirt and sewagey smell...

I've finally finished trekking, I'm now at the end of my 5 weeks of trekking in Nepal having just arrived back from the Annapurna Circuit. It was nice on some days, and um, not so much on others.. We had half a new group, 4 of us remained from the Everest trek plus 4 new people and a new guide, Indra. hi everyone, i've had a nice first week, hanging around in kathmandu on my own and visiting temples mostly. its hot in the day here but chilly at night and will be a lot colder i expect once i get to the mountains! you can only just see them on the horizon here, the air pollution's so bad. kathmandu is hectic but not too hassly, the dust and traffic fumes are nasty and everyone is coughing and spitting on the street because of it, lovely. there's lots of piles...
