Since Egypt I've been in a few contrasting places- we went under the Suez canal (no photos allowed ıs the impression the men wıth guns were giving me) to get to Sinai, which ıs a lot of rocky barreness and quıte cold and windy, even on the red sea. My week of seeing Egyptian temples is over, and I still don't know a massive amount about ancient Egypt! It wasn't quite as impressive as I expected, I guess my expectations were a bit high. Its nice to see famous sights like the pyramids and sphinx, Karnak temple and Valley of the Kings, but its just stone ruins you've seen in dozens of photos and they're so rammed with coach loads of tourists. I've finished my India trips now, I was quite sad to finish at the end, cos I did get to like India very much in the places where it was less touristy. We visited much more of those sorts of places in the second two weeks, in comparison to in Rajasthan, so it was nicer in some ways. Our group was cool, we had a good time, and I was sad to say goodbye to everyone at the end! After Orchha, we went on to Khajarao, which had several dozen 1000 year old Hindu temples...

Hey everyone, I've had over 2 weeks in India so far and I'm starting to get an idea of how India is now, it takes a while as its a bit overwhelming! I joined a new tour group in Delhi for the first 2 weeks, which was in the state of Rajasthan west of Delhi, it has all the really touristy famous places like Jaipur and Jodhpur.
