Went to Gwalia, and old mining town, with old mining cottages still set up. Was real interesting to look at the way they lived. One of the cottages was real tiny, our van would have been bigger. They still had old furniture in them, the pub was amazing, couldn't go in it though. Accommodation free

No gold, giving up looking lol. Went back to Kookynie had another look around and a drink in the old pub. Got back to the van and had yabbies for tea and more drinks, watched the footy and went to bed. Accommodation free

No gold it is getting so frustrating, we have been out there nearly all day for 4 days and no gold, people pull up yesterday for one night and find 4 pieces, we must be cursed lol. Accommodation free

The gold eludes us again, although we have been doing our bit to clean up Australia by finding all the old tin, bullets, nails, and even an ax head. Got a nice camp fire going and even have some marshmallows. Accommodation free Diesel $100-$1.64
