Had possums dropping things on the roof of van,waken us up last night. Got up at 7:30 am,drove into Darwin, had a walk through the mall, doing a bit of window shopping , after that we strolled down to the waters edge and had a dip to cool off. It is so hot Going back to van, have a swim in pool and relax for the rest of afternoon. Bought some fresh prawns and Dory fillets from fish mans wharf for tea. Got up had a nice baked ham and egg breakfast, packed van up and headed for Darwin, got into Darwin about 12:30 unhooked van and went for a dip in pool, so hot here.After our dip went to Palmerston Market and shopping centre had a bit of a look around. Came back to van had tea and going for another swim, will head into Darwin centre tomorrow. Accommodation $36

Got up at 5:30 to go on a boat ride along the yellowwater river , saws about 5 crocs in the wild and 20 different birds, which I could have seen on land but any way other people enjoyed it , my main reasoning for boat ride was big crocs, maybe they were asleep lol. Had a nice buffet breakfast , before packing up van and moving further on towards Darwin , waiting to here about jobs in Kakadu. Never seen so many mozzies was in bed at 7:30 last night couldn't stand ...

Got up early, went for a hike up to the caves were aboriginal paintings are, nice rocky, hilly climb, also quiet warm here today. Also went to the aboriginal culture centre was interesting to see how they lived. Booked a boat ride for tomorrow at 6:30 on morning , up early tomorrow lol. Got told there was work going here so applied for a job will have to wait and see. Went fishing down by the billabong, with you know who ( croc's) haven't seen one yet, didn't cat...

Got up put fuel in car and headed off to Kakadu , had to stop and get tickets into national park.We found a camp site and unhooked van, cooked some tea and lit a fire, not because it was cold but to deter the million mozzies.was a bit scary when we first pulled up no one around , two others came later on day, camp is only 100 metres to water, where you know who lives( crocs) .
