Hi Everyone!

Me again, since my last blog we have been to luang prubang which was a 7 hour journey up from vang vein in a very small mini van on very windy small roads and lucky me got a front roe seat next to the driver the roads were so small and bendy but we made it safely, we arrived about 5pm we were told it was only 8 hrs but took 10!

it very quiet we had a walk around the town is cute we walked about went to the night market where i bought a painting for about 4 quid and posted it home the next day which cost me ttripple what the pic did, we went for dinner in a nice place and i had water buffallo was gorgeous! early night got up and rented out a bike cycled round and walked up to the the temple at the top of a hil 297 steps! to watch the sunset from the temple was really nice went for dinner again and went to the local bowling alley in the middle of nowhere where we were told all the travellers go, we were the only white girls there we played 1 game and left as we had bus to vientiene the next day at 7am, so we were told 10hrs to vientiene and then we would get a nightbus to paxi we were supposed to arrive at 4.30pm but we arrived at 8.10pm the bus was supposed to leave at 8pm so we managed to get a tuk tuk to the next bus station and was shoved on sleeper bus with no other english speakers i was uspposed to be in bed with a random laos woman but i was scared to topped and tailed with Sasia and Sophie it was very hot and we hadnt eaten but we made it this morning with another 2 hr bus to don khong a remote island where there is no atm and 4 computers! so we showered ate and hired bikes again cycled around the island it was pouring so a local man who spoke english told us we could wait in his house/wooden hut so all 5 of us girls bowled into his hut all bthe family and kids there and sat taloking broken english to them was very kind of them the rain eased off and we set off again the kids were shouting hello and giving us high 5s as we cycled past was so cute we thought that we knew where we were going app not we kept ongoing and found out that we were totally wrong side of the island! we had to then pay a local man to take us and our bikes back to our hotel which we luckily had taken a pic off! we arrived back had a shower been for dinner now off to bed we are taking a boat in the morning to another island where app all the other travvellers are :)
