G'Day from the Outback (Oops),

We have arrived at Alice Springs and it is a scorching 34C!!!! We have had a great couple of days in Sydney although they have been raining almost non-stop so arriving in the middle of the desert in such extreme temperatures is quite a change.

The hostel we are staying in is a very nice place, basic but what nicer than what many hostels look like. Tomorrow morning at 6Am we head off into the wilderness (well paths that haven't been used since the last group of backpackers earlier in the week). I am not certain of the exact details but we will update here on Monday with our summary.

We have explored the town called Alice it didn't take long as it is very small. However, on our walk around we found a Baby Kangaroo rescue centre. They were very cute and we both took turns to hold them. I'm sure Suzy would be very jealous!!!! We will try and load the pics but with our luck so far it may have to wait until we reach Melbourne.
