The train was about a 9 hour ride, it was my first time being on a train like that and all I wanted was to sleep! I just couldn't get comfortable, everything hurt and I really needed to be able to stretch out. Our last day in Cairo was very uneventful, Lisa was very tired and still sick from being quite dehydrated so we both slept in, first time we've been able to do that! I woke up about 1-ish but she wasn't up, without her I wasn't really wanting to spend more money or time in Coptic Cairo so I stayed in and Mohammad and I had a nice LONG chat! 6 hours!!! Another amazingly jam packed day in Cairo! We got up early to take the bus to the Pyramids for 1 LE. It was a bit of a drive but Cairo is such a huge city! I think our host said 18 million people live here! The pyramids aren't actually out in the middle of the desert like you would think (or at least like I did), they are right on the edge of Cairo. It was 60 LE for admission (would have been half price if I had brought my student ID but I didn't know that! Bumme...

We made it!!! The trip so far has been amazing! The rides were long and I wasn't able to sleep to comfortably but we got into Cairo around 4pm. We started flying at 8am the previous day!
