Hi well started my S.S.I diving course on wednesday, passed the theory so first dive on thurs am !!!! :-( managed to get into the water with all the kit on, going in BACKWARDS which aint normal!! but did it then had a fantastic time in the afternoon we had learnt all our skills !!! I wasnt too sure :-) but Russ thought that we had so went for a dive, it was AMAZING saw all sorts of creatures and fish etc down there we went to 12m but you really could get carried away down there and forget the time it is soooooo peaceful and loads to see.

Fri learnt how to do a controllled emergency ascent!!! never want to need to! then went for 2 more dives down to 18m 1 in the morn and one in pm. really think i sussed out this neutral boyancy lark and really enjoyed the whole three days. all 3 of us passed (see photo, but dont look at the hair !!!) cant wait to do it again, hope fully b4 i get to Austrailia. Had a great week-end, and off to the 3 day Rainforest music festival in Kuching on wed eve so really lookin forward to that and seeing more of Sarawak the other end of Borneo. will let u know how it goes !!
