Just a reminder to those of you who were keeping up with my blog in 2009 that I have been blogging on a different site this year. You can keep up with my Namibian adventures and misadventures at: http://jeninnamibia.blogspot.com/
Thanks for all of your support!
Lots of love,
Jen
Now officially a blogger... I am so excited about this trip, and I want to be able to share my experiences with everyone that I care about! I hope that you'll enjoy my posts as I fill you in on my year of African adventures (and, most likely, misadventures) and my teaching post in Okahao, Namibia. Please feel free to comment on my posts and pictures and ask questions, jot down thoughts...the idea is keeping in touch!

Hi All!
I want to thank you for reading and responding so positively to my blog from these past 11 months! I also want to apologize for falling off these past few months - this has been due to…
This past weekend I attended "Copperfest"- an annual festival held in Tsumeb, a desert oasis town in central/northern Namibia that I knew very little about aside from the fact that …

Sounds like you had loads of fun. I am in Ruacana now for 6 months and will still be here for the next year or so. Working inside the power station. I LOVE IT HERE..
Beth (Jen's Sister)
Reading your updates and viewing your pictures just amaze me. I wish I was over experiencing everything right beside you. And I can't believe you saw hippos that close! I heard they are vicious... and swimming in the same water as them... you're nuts! Love you lots and lots! xoxox
PS where are the bungee photos?

Your writing is incredible! I can almost feel the wind blowing on my face as you bump up and down on your journey. I can picture you happy and beautiful as always. Looking forward to December! Love from all of us. xoxoxoxxx
Joanne (Jenny's Mom)
Jenny,
Love the beginning chapter of your adventure - don't leave us hanging - please write more soon!
Love the pictures!
Miss you so much! Can't wait for the fundraiser on Dec. 10th!
Terri (Jen's dad's co-worker)
All of us here at Dave's office are very excited for Dave and his trip to see you, Jen. We hope you guys have a wonderful visit together and that you can keep your dad out of trouble. We have received inquiries though about why hockey viewership (any hockey!) has been way down since he left the country. Don't tell him that the Habs are done but you can let him know that the Canucks are doing fine (along with the associated "happy" rioting in Vancouver) and that the Kelowna Rockets are still in it. We miss you, Dave! Have fun the both of you. cheers from Kelowna, Terri & the gang at the office
