OK...so even though this blog is about Pensacola....it includes everything we did on our way!

Left NOLA about 830am and headed past the Mississippi River and down to Alabama....oh no sorry "Sweet Home Alabama" < and the coach all rejoyced in the song and it was fab - X Factor here we come, anyways......our first stop was Bellingrath House - which was the house the of Coca Cola Man......"always coca colaaaaa" the house (as u can see in the pics) was something else and the views down by the lake where amazing, we had a lovely lunch there and then headed off to the USS Battleship Alabama - wow it was actually hard to fit it all into a picture and capture everything that was there - the planes and the ship was just amazing.

Onto the beach we go.....we pass the sign that says "Welcome to Florida" and I am not messing...it starting to absolutely lash it down haha - sunshine state?? but that lasted about 2 miles - thank god because soon we arrived in Pensacola....and the sun was shining and we hit the beach and Ive never seen whiter sand and bluer water - nothing like good old blighty....the sand reminded me of ya know cake mix for a victoria sponge before you make it....well kinda like that? (how random am I?) it was beautiful and then I thought well when in Pensacola....I had a forzen Pina Colada on the Beach.....ooo if only every sunday afternoon was this way!! Seriosuly in awe of these beaches......hellloooo Florida!!!

Supermarket stop on way to hotel an as always I fill my boots...I am well known on this trip for always eating and talking about food...so nothing new from home then? oh well its all healthy...obv!!

Straight into the hotel pool for me...cool off after the beach then a nice bath and chill - tomorrow is a very long day to Orlando.....little bit scary after the news this morning but itll all be ok
