A DAY OF REST

DAY 58: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Kelly, Nat and Alex headed off to the Cu Chi Tunnels today, but we decided to take it easy as Jen wasn't feeling great. We headed out for brunch quite late after a welcome lie in. Whilst we were eating we could see a motorbike over the road with what looked like a BBQ on the front where the basket would be.

We then went to Ben Thanh market - a huge indoor market that sells everything you could ever need. Although the temperature had really heated up today, so we didn't last long in the market and decided to take shelter in our air conditioned room so Jen could sleep off her dodgy belly.

In the early evening we greeted two more friends, Adam and Sam, who had arrived from Thailand and were going to spend the next few days with us. We all went out to dinner and had a great evening chatting about everyone's different travel stories and laughing at the overly camp waiter.
