THE WOLFPACK, IT GREW BY TWO
DAY 57: Mui Ne to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
We had a late start this morning to prepare for our long bus ride to Saigon. After checking out, we headed back to the chilled out bar, Pogo where the sun had decided to come out for a change, so we enjoyed a few drinks and lunch on the front watching the fishing boats do their thing just off the shore.
Our bus was a little late and it took about half an hour to finally leave Mui Ne so we knew we'd be late arriving in Saigon. It was a fairly boring journey again, just taking in the views as we bumped and tooted along the road. The air con wasn't really working that well and the sun was blazing, so it was just as well we had sticky leather seats to sit on.
We finally arrived at 7pm in the Ho Chi Minh rush hour - it took ages to get where we were going. As we pulled in to the bus stop Kelly spotted Alex and Nat which was a spot of luck, so they guided us to our hotel down a quiet side street - The Blue River hotel, which is nowhere near a river, let alone a blue one. We headed out to find a restaurant and sink a good few ice cold Tiger beers in a small bar on the side of the street.
