BUSY DOING NOTHING
DAY 26: Rarotonga
Our new neighbours decided to have a party last night, and with walls made out of paper it felt like they were on the end of the bed. They finally switched off the music at 6am but then started again a couple of hours later so Jen went round and had a nice word.
Another R&R day followed with reading and sleeping taking up most of our time, the most strenuous activity being the opening of another coconut (couldn't resist the urge).
We went for a long walk on the beach and one of the many stray dogs followed us. I think they're stray but they seem very happy, friendly dogs, so perhaps they just let themselves out for a walk. He did attract some unwanted attention from the local hoody-dogs though which made us a bit uncomfortable.
Along the beach were loads and loads of small blue jelly fish washed up, which was weird as we hadn't seen one up until this point. There was also a strange storm-like feeling in the air, so I'm not sure if they had some sort of suicidal sixth sense or something.
The evening saw us enjoy another salad (with tuna fresh from the tin this time), some more beers and a few games of cards.
