Hello from Bali! It is so beautiful here. We have been soaking up the culture there is to see in Ubud. We took a tour up in the mountain on bikes and saw a traditional Balinese home, ate some Balinese food before going to the monkey forest. There are 600 macaque monkeys in the forest wandering around. Many of them were carrying babies. You could feed them bananas and let them climb on you. We were advised by people we met along the way that it is better to watch the other tourists give bananas than do it yourself.Pretty cool. Also on our tour we went and saw a c*** fight. They are apparently illegal here but when the police show up they just pay them about 100000 rp or 10 dollars to let it go. We happened upon one and our tour guide got us in to watch. Hopefully it will be as great in Kuta... we are heading there this morning.
