Hello!

We have safely arrived on Koh Tao. We came by ferry this morning. It was a pretty awful boat ride. The boat was seemingly a bit sketchy and the 2 hour trip was very wavy. I spent a portion of the time planning an escape route out a window if it tipped. Also, the boat was full of people coming from the Full Moon Party. It was a pretty awesome party which made for a bad boat ride for several people. About 10000 people arrive to the beach of Koh Phangan and music lines the beach from different bars. They sell bucket drinks of all kinds! They have people doing fire batons, and they had ropes lit up with fire to play jump rope (no worries... we avoided that activity). It poored rain, but that didn't seem to affect he party. We are in Koh Tao until the 8th when we will travel back to Phuket to catch the flight to Bali.
