Around the World Forever
My first day in Trujillo was spent exploring the downtown streets and colonial architecture of the Plaza de Armas or main square. This is Peru's 3rd largest city and quite busy. This weekend promises to be fun because they are celebrating the first day of spring with a festival. Good timing on my part. I have since met up with Jakob from Germany and Chris and Cheri, a brother and sister traveling together from Phoeniz Arizona. The four of make a godd group and it's fun to hang out... in addition to those friendly Peruvians you just can't avoid making friends with.
There are some photos of Trujillo and a parade that just went by me one afternoon featuring all little kids in costumes. I think it's part of the spring festival but who really knows.
