Finally, departure day is here. All of my possessions have either been sold or placed in storage. What's left has to fit in my backpack that will accompany me around the world for the next couple years. My roommate Jeff drove me to the Harrisburg airport for my flight to Florida. After 10 days, I fly to Mexico where I will travel south through Central and South America for the next year or so.

Saturday of my "going away" weekend was not so out of control. After recovering from Friday's festivities, I met a few more friends in Harrisburg that could not come out last night. Tomorrow, I am on a plane to Naples, Florida to hang out with my parents for a while before heading to Mexico.

Today was my last day of work, which simply meant I had to return the company car, phone, and laptop. I will have to depend on my roommate Jeff to be my taxi for the next couple days. The evening started at the Gingerbread Man Bar and Restaurant. Thanks to everyone that made it out especially to Mike & April, and Scott & Brenda, for making the long trip to Harrisburg to see me off. Next week, I will be on a plane bound for Naples, Florida to begin a 'round the world adventure that will take me through Central & South America, South East Asia, and who knows after that.
