After a 10 hour overnight bus from Trujillo, I arrived in Tegucigalpa, the busy capital city of Honduras. There really isn´t all that much to see or do here but I wasn´t ready to ride any more buses today to get to Nicaragua. So I just had a look around downtown and in the evening I saw Spiderman 2 .. all dubbed in Spanish ... let´s just say I´m glad it wasn´t radio. It only costs 22 lempiras which is about $1.25 US. Clearly, we are getting robbed every time we go to the theatre at home. Here´s another interesting fact ... I can buy pirated DVD´s down here for movies that aren´t even released in US theaters yet. Hollywood must be hating that!!!! Too bad for them I guess....

I´m off to Nicaragua tomorrow but I wanted to have an entry from Tegucigalpa. Eventually, perhaps this fall, the creator of the Travelpod web sight is going to have a mapping program for us. I´m assuming it will kind of be a "connect the dots" of my travel route based on these entries. So I wanted to add Tegucigalpa to show I came through here.
