Arrived safe and sound in Saigon, after an entertaining transfer from Whale Island. The airport at Nha Trang was lovely, and full of Russians! It was 'plump up the cushions and watch the freak show', Sal was gawping so much, I thought she was going to get us beaten up!
At Saigon, we should have been picked up at the airport, but there was another cock-up, and we ended up getting a taxi to the hotel. Another nice room, another club sandwich, plus a turn-down service, and a chocolate, nice!
We like Saigon, maybe not as much as Hanoi, but it's got that same mad Vietnamese vibe, great shops, tasty food, and friendly folk.
Not long left in Vietnam, now, but we've loved our stay, and hopefully the Mekong Delta will be as enjoyable as the cities.
