That picture is no joke.Skateboarding rhinos are running rampant through Melbourne!We've yet to spot one, but what a photo op that would be! JTo add that great little factoid, here are a few other quirky observations about Australia.

·"No worries" is the nation's favorite phrase.It can mean "don't worry about it," "okay," or "you're welcome."

·Vendors actually check the back of credit cards for every transaction; State-side stores should take a lesson.However, they seem to find it very amusing, sometimes even irritating, that we've written "See I.D." on the back rather than signing ours.

·North Queenslanders don't wear shoes!Even students dressed in their school uniforms walk around barefoot.And if you do spot one wearing shoes, it's no more than a pair of flip flops.Boy was I born in the wrong country!

·Melbournians are on the flip side of the fashion coin.I feel pretty underdressed here in my casual traveling clothes and am just dying to "have a good shop," as they put it.It also seems that as soon as you sign a job contract here, you simultaneously give up your right to wear colors.Everyone wears black!And not just a little black; many wear all black, with at most a speck of color in a scarf, a tie, or some jewelry.

·While we're on the topic of the Melbourne working class…when do they actually work???All day long the streets and cafes are full of people in their business suits!Again, I was born in the wrong country!

All in all, we're loving Australia.Melbourne is our final stop and I'm so glad we're spending a lengthy amount of time here.I've typically been of the opinion that cities are all the same and not really for me, but I love Melbourne.It's by far the best city I've ever visited.Everything is so clean and feels very safe.There's loads to do and hundreds of cafes and restaurants to satisfy any international craving you may have.If I were to move to Australia, I'd make Melbourne my home in a heartbeat! (Don't worry parents, we're not moving to Australia! At least, not any time soon, heehee *wink*)
