Just caught up on your latest adventures - envious and thinking about all the wonderful memories you're storing away. Nepal was wonderful - we too got to bathe the elephants.
One of your Red Panda pics now my background. We have a new one at the zoo - Daisy.Temples remind me of Nepal. Continue on in good health and joyful times.

Jeff & Stephanie,
Great photos! Looks like you are having an
adventure of a lifetime. Best Wishes and keep
the photos coming! Lee McCrann sent me your
link. Just returning from a two month DTA in
Seattle. Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, I totally missed all these recent messages!
Yes Alan, it was my bday...Jeff and I spent it hunting down Lord of the Rings flim sites in New Zealand, haha.
John, I'm looking forward to your Nepal stories...I really want to go there too!
Monica, communicating isn't so bad...lots of gesturing, a few useful phrases, and a handy phrase book when all else fails.
Ron...where exactly do you think we're sleeping?! haha...most places have been reasonably nice for the price and we've enjoyed having private rooms with ensuite bathrooms instead of the many dorms we stayed in in NZ.
Love hearing from you all!!!

Looks like a blast, guys! I'm very jealous. Thanks for sharing this with all of us!

Glad you got to see Ryan and his wife in China. Now that you are going south into warmer weather, your trip will become more humid, tropical, ... meaning that you may need to wash up more often. I wonder if that has been a problem in China with your sleeping arrangements. Hope your trip continues to be the adventure of a lifetime, and that your health continues to be good.
With Love,
Ron

Hi! Stef and Jeff, hoping you guys are doing great in China. I am waiting to hear from you guys and find out what you guys have seen so far. Is it difficult to communicate with the locals and how is the food so far? ha ha ha

Stef & Jeff,
I am green w/envy. You guys are brave and adventurous. You certainly look like you're enjoying every minute. I know you'll continue to do so.
Trudie and I are off to Nepal, with 10 others from the Zoo, day after tomorrow. I hope we have some photos and stories that compare with yours.

Stef wasn't it your birthday? Where did you and Jeff spend the 20th? Happy Birthday! Am I wrong?
Steve
Sounds like things are going great! Love the pictures too. While your sightseeing must be amazing, I have to say your most compelling post so far has been about the World Cup of Rugby match. I remember being in Paris leading up to the soccer match to decide the European soccer championship between champions of two different European leagues. The atmosphere throughout the city was absolutely electric; I'm sure being at the match was pretty incredible.
