We made plans for us to go to the beach the four of us yesterday evening so that we'd spend a full day at the beach, So me and Phil made all our food ready to set off at 10:30. Soph and Dave didn't get up until gone 13.00! Then Sophie send that there wasn't any point going now that by the time they'd have there stuff together it be gone 14:00.

We just grabbed our stuff and walked to the city cat and went to south-bank to go to the beach in the park, nabbed our spot and got straight in that water to cool down, Today was around 37 degrees so the sun was blazing down on us.

Stayed in the water for around an hour got out and sun bathed for a while then another quick dip in the water and back to sun bathing. I was on the verge of falling asleep when Phil said my shoulders looked a little red so put some more sun cream on.
But the damage was already done... The sun began making its move behind the clouds so jumped In For our last swim waited for the sun to poke out again ten we made our more to grab our stuff and change while it's warm.

Got back to the hostel relaxed with the other guys down stairs got around to making plans for the beach tomorrow with Dave and Sophie. Made dinner and played a few rounds of monopoly.
