This morning I woke up early again so I watched the Matrix and sorted my laptop out because it was running really slow! On top of that my camera arrived this morning so that's one thing off my chest! Sorted most of that out then was about to activate my new Australian SIM card but couldn't as Sophie was rushing us to help prepare the food for the BBQ later on, We all chipped in making up the food and collecting everything we need. We but everything into the car and shot off to the park to find a public BBQ area to cook and hang out before going back to drink, Wondered around for a place to go asked a local guy for some help and he out us on the right track, Got to the park where there wasn't anyone on this BBQ set, Gave it a clean then set up to start cooking. But as we set up everything we came to find we'd left the oil back at the house... Dave shot off to the shop to buy some more spray oil while we played some football.
We cooked up some meat and then cleaned up the BBQ and went to go hang out on the grass playing some cards while Dave had a little skate. Phil had a go skating a little. The weather looked on the turn and going cloudy so we packed up and made our way back.
A couple beers down and someone was cutting Olly's hair then we somehow got around to shaving a batman sign into my chest haha.
We then drank until close to midnight we'd left going into the city just a little to late! It came to around 11:45 then we quickly shot into the car with Nick to drive us to somewhere along the riverbank to watch the fireworks, As we shot off in the car we turned on the radio with the final count down just starting to play it was a sign! We frantically raced to a few places got stuck down a dead end lane and sped down this hill to the riverbank outside of the city, When we stopped the Dave shouted "Everyone out the car!!" Jumped out to see the fireworks that weren't that great from where we saw them.
We then made it back to the hostel and listened to some tunes till the early hours, Came to around half four and called it a night.
