We got such good feedback from everyone who read our blog when we were in Thailand, we thought we would continue with our next holiday.

Camping in Scotland!!

As you all probably know, Scotland is a beautiful country but it has one tiny, tiny disadvantage, the Midge!! We have even experienced it when we went camping in Scotland once before so this time we come prepared. We have midge jackets (got to say I don't look brilliant in mine) and a midge gazebo so although I don't want to be swarmed with midges on this holiday, I kind of feel like there needs to be one day, just one day will do so we won't feel like we've purchased these for nothing!!

We were supposed to head off on Wednesday but the weather forecast was very bad with very high winds and very heavy rain so we've moved it to Thursday when it's just normal wind and normal rain!

Fingers crossed - It'll be sunshine all the way. Watch this space!!
