Testing our stamina we are back in Doha about to embark on our 2nd overnight flight in 48 hours. But it was worth it to spend a wonderful day in Dubai, catching up with Simone and Dave. Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon as it is still known was exhilarating. Crawling the Cu Chi tunnels dug by the Vietcong in the 60s, running the gauntlet of the stall holders in the central market, suffering the ignominy of size XXXL trousers (Jean) and King Kong size shirt (Brian), sipping cocktails at sunset on the roof terrace of the Rex hotel (thanks Jonathan) and bumping into an ex school friend of Simone's all made for a very varied end to our adventures in South East Asia.
