So we made it to Thailand, the last country on our great big adventure. We had a plan. To find great beaches and do nothing. It was time to rest properly and feel like we were actually having a holiday. We made it to Koh Chang first of all, another place we had been told about by various travellers we had met. It was fabulously quiet, if a little mosquito infested and wet. The monsoon rains were ever present during our stay but we had a great hut on the beach with books and scrabble to entertain us. Many a day was spent in a hammock pondering life........basically. A quick stop over in Bangkok allowed us to make plans for our remaining days. We had a plan. To find great beaches and do nothing. Koh Samui was our home for 3 days before we went in search of the next island which was a little less pillaged by tourism. Koh Pha Ngan had every thing we wanted. No traffic, just the odd taxi and motorbike. Empty beaches and great snorkelling. A week was spent in a basic hut getting our stomachs used to over-eating on westen food again. The snorkelling was as good as we have seen any where and just off our beach. There was nothing else to do except top up our tans. We are now in Bangkok and ready to fly home. You can't sum this year up easily in a few sentences. But i think you will read it in our faces when we get to see you. Adios Amigos
