We haven't really written much whilst we have been at Hossegor.. I think the reason being that it doesn't feel like travelling now that we're here. We love it so much, we have just fitted into everyday living. There are no major cathedrals, bridges or artworks we need to see and no train/bus/taxi rides. Each day we just go to the beach, watch the waves, ride our bikes, sample french cuisine, practise our French! Simply marvellous..

I can proudly say Tim's French is amazing! How anyone could pick it up so quickly is beyond me. He bought a little dictionary and fraise book so he can order for us in perfect French! The fraise book is hilarious - it even teaches you how to say various sentences such as, "you really are a slut, how about sleeping with me tonight, f#*k you, you have a sexy body.." so funny.. .

It's so chilled out, we're so content here. We like it so much that we're actually staying here an extra week! Nikki & Derek have hooked us up with a lovely B & B opposite their house-really close to the beach! We just jump on our bikes and ride 2 mins and we're there! We're not sure how long we are going to stay here.. We know there is still so much to do and see but we're so happy its hard to leave!

Nikki & Derek have been our saving graces.. They have done drop offs/pick ups, fed us beautiful home-cooked lunches & dinners and let us drink their beautiful wine! They have also taken us out to lunch and dinner - they are making sure we are well fed! They have looked after me when I was sick, Chinese medicine, hot teas, vegemite on toast!! Niks even gave us a vegemite of our own to take travelling!! Its amazing how much you miss the minor things back home.

It's a bit rainy today but I think my bod could do with a break from the sun! Its so funny, when we get to the beach Tim lathers himself in sunscreen (like smothers his WHOLE body-even like ears and feet!) whilst I lather mine in tanning oil! But it has 20+ ok so its basically good for me haha!! Oh and they have 50+sunscreen over here?? Do we even have that at home!!

Anyway, we are going to have our little home-made breaky that our B & B provides, so yummy! Croissants, jam, muesli, baguettes, fruit etc… It's a hard life, but someone's gotta do it huh…
