I arrived in Venice around 7 in the morning and hung out for a few hours until Carson's train arrived and suddenly there he was! It was so great seeing a familiar face and we immediately started swapping stories from our time in Europe (he had spent the past month in the south of France at his roommate's house, surfing every day). Today felt like the longest of my trip. I woke up early to catch a city bus back to the main bus station, meeting two Irish guys on it who I chatted with along the way. I caught a 3 hour bus back to Split, waited in the station for awhile and then rode a 7 hour train to Zagreb (ran into the 3 English guys I met earlier in Split!).
