Well today was a day of surprises. We rode the underground to Buckingham Palace, planning to see the changing of the guard which happens every day at around 11 am but upon arriving we were informed that Obama was coming instead! What a day! We got off to an early start and caught the underground to the Tower of London. The place was amazing! We went on a tour guided by a Beefeater and learned some of the history before we headed over to see the crown jewels. The plane ride seemed to take forever but we finally made it! Got a bit lost in London for awhile but managed to find our hotel, Palmer's Lodge, after a couple hours of riding the Tube and buses around. Didn't do too much sight-seeing today cause the 15 hours or so of traveling had completely drained us, but we did manage to make it over to Abbey Road and get photos of us crossing the famous intersection. It never felt like this day would come, but here I am in SeaTac airport, moments away from boarding my flight! I have to keep pinching myself cause this seems so unreal.
