Well you know what they say you cant have pleasure without pain & beleave me i am suffering for all the fun ive been having. We are working on a banana farm in Lakeland. We have to get up at 5am in the morning to catch the bus to the farm where me & Sandra stand for 10 bloody hours at a trough watching soddin' bananas swim past which we have to cut the ends off. We get the occasional cockroach also swimming past which i like to flick across at Sandra or fish out & place them wiggling on there backs on the convaer belt for bad bananas which runs around the factory & thats pretty much the highlight of my day! If were lucky we get to go to the 'paradise' where we work out in the fields in 40 degree heat chopping leaves off the banana trees with a 8 foot knife! One of the blokes there somehow managed to chop his own leg! I swear he did it on purpose jst to get out of work early!

Im pretty crap at my job so a chinese girl (who doesnt speak much english) often comes over to give me a hand she was helping me then came over & said 'packing' so i thought she was going to show me how to do the banana packing she walked off so i followed she kept walking around the factory & turning round to smile at me following behind her so i jst kept smiling back & following her around. Then she started packing so i stood & watched & she jst kept looking up smileing & looking a little scared by now so i jst stood & watched & smiled back. Turns out she was jst telling me that she was going back to doing the packing & not help me anymore bet she was thinking who is this crazy english girl that keeps following me around smileing at me!

We are staying in a hostel in Cooktown a small aberidgany town where everyone knows everything about everyone & they thrive on gossip if there is none they jst make it up! A big fat old man gay man & his young Hong Kong boyfriend run the hostel where we are staying. There is also a crazy old american man called yanky John who jst talks at you constantly & I mean contantly! They also have this crazy obsession with birds they have pet birds everywhere the other day i was talking a shower & two of them came in to join me, the birds not the owners!
