I am sitting in my hotel room waiting for the race to start on Sunday. There are 3 days and 16 hours to go! We are starting at 12:30, in the middle of the start times. The cats and trimarans are off first, then the Volvo 70s and after the exotic boats it is the slow boats followed by the faster classes.

Our crew are:
Alex - first mate and bow specialist
Pauline - navigator and tactician
Mike - mast man
John - health and safety officer
Richard - master of all trades
