#164 - Worthington's (English) - My pilgrimage continued to my favourite English city today. This time to its other religion - football! (The other being the Beatles). Started it off with a free walking tour which showed us the history of the city and more sights of the Beatles. Then we headed to Anfield..oh yeah! Home of most successful English side in history...that's right.. Man U fans can look up how many European championships they have won in comparison. Spoiler alert, not as many as Liverpool. I digress. We did the tour of the stadium seeing the dressing rooms, press area and Kop stand. Then we did the museum where there is one of only 5 real Champions league trophies in a clubs possession. Another spoiler alert. Man U does not have one of these. Great afternoon well spent. Unbelievable that the stadium fits under 50000 so they turn away 20000 each game.
