#137 - Le Trappe quadruple (Belgium) - As today has no other meaning that I know of it will be known as red bus day as that is what transported us around Athens all day...wait a second it is already known as Rajnays birthday....well if it is Rajnays birthday that means...... I am in trouble as it is Beks birthday!!! This will take some creative explaining. Today, being Beks birthday we avoided the Archeological museum like the plague and headed out on the Red bus of sightseeing....thank god we were not strolling around cause today it was hot!!!! It was around 36 degrees but as John Candy said it is the humidity which will kill you! Even though we were in a bus because of the heat we still had a midday snooze in the shade in the National Garden of Athens. We still saw all the sights from the bus - Acropolis, Hadrians Arch, and Zeus Temple. After our nap we went to the first ever Olympic stadium which fit 60,000... I hope they held it in autumn or spring otherwise that stadium would have been a ticket to a free sauna and BO fest. Then we headed out to the coast where we found a pub with Trappist beer (I cried a little). Plus the place had an awesome view and Bek had some birthday cheesecake. Then we headed back but it was too late to go up the acropolis so instead we had a beautiful birthday dinner with it lit up as our view!
