Today we were meant to visit Venice but due to the past 36 hours of stress it was decided to instead have a free day in Rome. Larry and Amanda went off to visit their daughter again so Donna Steve , Jase and I decided to do the hoho bus. This bus takes you around the City of Rome (although only the city........it still takes 1.45 minutes to do one lap.) After sitting for 1 1/2 round trips we got off and heading to see the Trevi Fountain. Oh My,!!!!!!!!!! is the only way I can describe it. It’s Absolutely beautiful and breath taking visiting the fountain has always been a dream of mine but never thought I would. So yes lots of photos were taken. Wow still can’t believe I have been there. My dream has come true. Thank you so much Jason for making this dream come true. We then headed to the Spanish Steps. A highlight for Donna. I’m not sure what I expected but it was beautiful. Certainly felt yesterday’s work out while walking up the steps. We then had a bit for lunch before hoping back on the hoho towards home. After a rest and the boys polished off a few beers and a bottle of red we went out to a local restaurant just up the road for tea. Then home to bed as we have a very early start tomorrow.
