So yesterday was a complete write off of being sick, sleeping and watching movies. In order to make up for it today lisbet and i wanted to see as much of Pai as we could and what better way to do this than rent a scooter. The scooter was so cheep, 100B or €2.50, for 24 hrs. We got to see so much of the country and the scooter allowed us to go up steep hills that would have killed me on a simple bicycle. Well there was one stage that we went up a road that was too steep even for our trusty scooter. This resulted in us losing control of the scooter which nearly fell into a ditch. The scooter fell against my leg and the heat from the engine melted a Patch of my skin. Another scar in the making I think, but as I said to Lisbet, all these scars that I am collecting are serving the function as a memory log, every time I look at them I can be like ah yeah the full moon party, or ah yeah that time our street turned into a river and I fell over or ah yeah that time I made Lisbet drive up that impossibly steep hill and melted some of my leg off. Good times, fond memories!!

We saw lots of things today, but I don't really know the names of them. We saw a temple which was cool but, forgive me for saying this, but by the time you have seen your 15th temple the excitement kind of wears off. We also saw a massive white Buddha which was really cool. We had to walk up a very steep hill to get to it but the stress was worth it.
We also drove to an amazing view point. Once up there we had to pay 20B for a ticket which resulted in us receiving tea from the cutest little cups and a banana. The viewpoint also made for some great photo opportunities. We are just after returning home but in a little while are going to drive up to a small restaurant high up on the hills where we can watch the sunset and hopefully eat some good food! I am living the dream and it is just wonderful!! (Photos in pai album)
