Next stop Koh Phi Phi. This is a beautiful island with amazing beaches and views and also a great night life. It is however a tourist hot spot and a little bit ruined because of that. We stayed in a place called the rock with two double bed rooms and public toilets but for 200 B (€5) a night who can complain.
On our first night there we went to a bar that had seats outside on the beach. A group of Thai guys were doing fire tricks as entertainment. When they had finished one of them asked if we would like to try so of course I said yes(after a bit of encouragement from the girls). He gave me two balls on the end of a chain which I was to swing around so after a bit of practice he set them alight and I got to do a little fire trick. After that he got me to stand really still and he did a load of fire tricks around me and for his final trick he got me to sit down and put a cigarette in my mouth, he then proceeded to light the cigarette with the fire he was twirling in my face, he did the same trick to Ruth also. it was pretty exciting and although a bit stupid I'm glad I did it.
