Headed over to one of the other HK island today (Wed 17) - Lantau Island near the airport. Bit smoggy for our trip to the Big Buddha and Po Lin monastery on the 6km cable car trip. We also headed to the coast where we visited a fishing village built on stilts (Tai O - see photo). By the time we turned back the mist / smog had lifted and we got a really good view over the airport and the countryside. Heading off to China tomorrow so looking forward to another change of culture!
