Have had a great day cycling and rafting on the Yu Long River! Jane has apparently wanted to do this since she was 14. Good view of the karst mountains and a close look at the paddy fields. Trying to ride along the raised drainage channels not advised as you can easily fall off!
Saw 5 people on one motorbike today (2 adults, 2 children and a baby) - must be a record!
Strange breakfast today - fresh fruit and mayonnaise!
....Just been out for dinner. West Street (Yangshuo) must be the busiest street on earth - gave up halfway down as we couldn't move. Bizarre incident on way back to hotel. A young Chinese man stopped us and pointed at his camera. We thought he wanted us to take a picture of him and his girlfriend, but turns out his girlfriend wanted a picture of her standing next to Mark. Guess they don't have many tall people here but there are quite a few westerners here.
