Tues (20:50) - It's been a long Tues, 41 hours so far and still a few to go! We're now in Los Angeles and are staying in Santa Monica. What a contrast to New Zealand, very busy and cars everywhere. Took almost an hour to travel the 8 miles from the airport by taxi. Hadn't realised that it's Thanksgiving on Thursday, which partly explains the traffic congestion and why our hotel is so expensive. It is in a good location though, 5 mins walk from the seafront and beach.
