Nella's spanish and european aventures
so we have finally found out that i really am going to graduate!! praise the Lord i about lost my mind in the process but i have amazing friends and family that helped me out... plus 6 more hours to take of classes this semester!!
in other good news, my brother searched all over and found another bag exactly like mine and has sent it today to replace the sadly demolished first. *supposedly the airline will reemburse but who knows we'll see* so i'm excited because today is a great day!
our tests arrived for DLP classes on monday so we're going to have to actually kick our butts in gear, but not until after this weekend when we plan to go visit la Alhambra which is in Granada (and is what i like to call my castle... the only one i knew anything about before we came to europe... i'm taking humanities and western civ here how was i supposed to know anything i didnt learn in spanish class?) * this will be our first adventure outside of the province of Cadiz for us since we've arrived here in el puerto.
above is a picture of us at la bodega. i've mentioned before that we lived in an area known for its winery but wasnt sure at the time if the translation was right. well it was, they are known for the brandy, wine, and some other distinct things. the only thing i recognized was that they had a part in making red bull, the energy drink that we all know of in the states, you know the one that gives you wings, that was a partnership with them and some other people. so was their orange juice and water that they sell. ewe! i can't even stand the smell of that stuff!!! *look at the face!!!* next weekend we plan to visit africa... well only a lil part of it, morocco is supposedly a short trip from here so we're totally for it.
the weather has been nice enough for me to go running twice this week, i'm a bit of a light weight for it at the moment cause i gotta work my way into it again, but a short run to, from, and along the boardwalk of the near by beach beats a ciesta any day! plus last week we finally bought what i like to call the essentials a cheap volleyball and pump! since then, we have nearly broken everything in the house waiting for a chance to go outside and yesterday it came... we went outside and peppered forever it was wonderful!!
until the next crazy day or adventure...
God bless and keep you
