Before leaving Broome we made one more visit to Cable Beach to have breakfast at the Cable Beach Club resort. The restaurant at this expensive upmarket accomodation has a view through to the beach via a grassed ampitheatre on the lawns foreshore. Yesterday we had a bit of a slow start. Did a little housekeeping and sat in the sun at Town Beach. Town Beach is a lovely little beach directly in front of Roebuck Bay caravan park. The trip to Cape Leveque with Roger Chumley specialist tours was awesome. Today Tim and I did some site seeing around Broome. We decided to hire a little car to get around. Broome is so spread out and the weather so hot it is impossible to cover what we want to see on foot. In the cool of the morning we walked the 2 1/2 km to Chinatown with the purpose to rent a car.
